Do pilots name the aircraft they fly usually

I had a name for a C-310 I flew all the time, but it disappointed my like my ex-fiancé did. I stopped flying it and haven't named a plane since.

They shared the same name and that was that.
 
We had a FM tail number. I think I recall saying "Oh F Me...not again" once or twice or a lot in the 4 years I flew it.

Used to teach in a Skyhawk that ended with CK, or chicken killer. That slipped to ATC once or twice.

I know a guy that flies an aircraft that is registered as Nxx2SA or he calls it 2 stupid @$$holes
 
A POS 172 that's falling apart is nicknamed "Zero Lift" in LVK. Other than that, never had a name for the plane I flew.
