Descending out of FL230 into KFXE yesterday

That's really funny. I just took essentially the same shots about 6 days ago. I love Canadian overnights!

haha nice! Did you do the tour at Steam Whistle? Best $10 I ever spent!

Also hit up the Jays game that night. Being a Sox fan and having been to Fenway a few times, it was sad to see how empty that stadium is!

I didn't tour. Show time was later that afternoon, but I wandered around looking at the trains, then I hit up a cafe/pub, Dunn Bros. on King St., for some fish 'n chips.

It might be more crowded if you waited until the game started to take the picture!

That was taken just before the national anthem haha

Ok ok fine, here's a pic taken during the middle of the game

Seriously, couldn't believe that an MLB stadium could be that empty. They even won in the bottom of the 10th, so it's not like it was a boring game. Absolutely no energy in that place though.

Just kidding around :) As a fellow Fenway person, it does always feel wrong to see a game almost anywhere else. A lot cheaper though!

Hauptmarkt in Trier, Germany.

Spent 7 years in the Eifel region of Germany, 3 years at Spangdahlem and 4 years at Bitburg. Earned my pilots license at the Ramstein Aero Club. My wife is from Trier, her brother now runs the BMW motorcycle business, which has been a family business for over 50 years. As a side note Trier is the oldest city in Germany, if I remember correctly its origins can be traced back to 16BC. Definitely good times.

How are ya liking that Skycatcher?

Well, it is slow and loud, but it is ridiculously easy to fly. It also sips gas (burned 18 gal in 3.8 hrs this trip with more altitude changes than I would have liked). It is out of commission for a service bulletin for possible wing cracking (yikes!), and I lost a month of training in July because the door came unlatched in flight and was damaged when another customer had it.

Anyway I'm just gonna go for the gold now and get a private certificate so I have more rental options, but assuming it goes back in service, I'll still fly the skycatcher on short local flights.
