I might have the opportunity to fly one of these aircraft soon and wanted to get some input from more experienced pilots:)

Thanks!

I would prob say not the hawker. Not sure how many have been delivered but it can't be a lot. Plus who knows how long they'll be making them. The whole bankruptcy thing.

Edit to add: According to wiki about 180 delivered. But I don't know if the 4000 and the horizon are the same type.

I'd personally choose a Citation X, however out of your choices, I would probably pick the FAL2K. Pretty crummy choices, as none of those airplanes share a type with any other airplane. The 4000 is garbage, and not many companies you'd want to work for fly them. The G200 is a great passenger aircraft, but since i turn left at the door, I'll take the 2000 over it all day.

The 850 is a common type with the CRJ family (I think?) which means just about everybody and their uncle has that on their certificate now. The 605 is specific to a pretty narrow band of Challengers, but probably (might) lead to some possible jobs if you had some time in it.

G200 or falcon 2000. It's a toss up. Not saying one airplane is better than the other, but they are the most abundant for job opportunities. Outside the list I'd get a 560xl or hs125 rating. They are both midsized, overly abundant, and pay is decent.

Yeah CL850 would be stupid. There aren't many Challenger 850's flying. Especially since you could get a Global or Gulfstream instead.

What up dude? Long time no speak.

Choose whichever will provide you with the best QOL, pay, and flight time opportunities.

I just took a job flying a Hawker 1000. Not many of them around, but who cares. I'm gonna be flying a lot, making as much as a regional captain as an FO in the Hawker, and have a decent QOL. In my opinion, thinking of the future is great, but don't let getting typed in a not so common jet stop you from taking a good gig.

G450/550. Seems like once you enter that club you are pretty much set.
I used to think that till I started my charter job and started running into guys who fly them. They are say there are too many guys with that type and they bring the wages down and make finding jobs hard

I have a choice right now between two companies. One would offer me a type rating in the previously listed types and has a large group of foreign pilots working for them. Another company could offer me a type rating in a GV450/550, but is a new company with little experience in hiring foreign pilots. So I was leaning towards the first, but the more I think about it I think a GV450/550 would be a better career move.

Gee Whiz type with time in type is hard to beat. "The Economy" matters very little to the people who fly in those things, they'll be airborne at least just after the Barricades go up.
