Who gives a crap about the numbers. Firewall the engines, roll down the runway, and pull back when you get near the end. Works every time for me.

I'd like to see their definition of "fight"

I've actually started to pack my flight kit while telling the captain that I wasn't going because I didn't think the operation was legal, after his insistence that MX control wouldn't lead us wrong (*giggle*), but I wouldn't consider it a fight.

But then flight control called and said that there was no way she was going to dispatch the flight no matter what the captain and maintenance control thought.

Sometimes you have to pack your flight kit.
