This isn't something you see everyday. As I drove by West Houston Airport today, I saw this Baron on the side of the road. It's only a couple hundred feet from the departure end of Runway 15 at KIWS. I blocked out the tail number for privacy. I've been searching but no luck so far figuring out what actually happened.

I was there today and heard three widely varying stories but look at the propeller blades on the right engine.

No, I came up 400' shy. Maybe one day. After being up there once, I'm in no hurry to do it again.
Yeah there is no real reason to go up there....very little margin for error. Last time I was at FlightSafety I had them take me up to FL510 to let me hand fly it. I did a stall just to see how much altitude you would lose...I used the normal recovery method and lost 1,500 feet which was pretty good I thought! In real life I think I would have just kept the nose down, haha.

Wow! I thought it would require much more altitude to recover. I remember doing a full stall in the sim just to see how well it does, and I remember losing 5000 fpm. But when it broke, it was a nice clean stall and went straight forward. Very surprised you were able to recover in 1500'.

Last flight in a Cessna for awhile, start multi engine training in 3 weeks :)

Since the plane wasn't mine, I wanted to be outside with it to hold it down because I wasn't sure how bad the storm was going to be. It didn't move or even try to though. A few airplanes were damaged though.

No damage, but this tent attacked a Canadian C150 that was parked next to us during the storm

The parachute team under-estimated the wind it seems and 2 of them didn't make it back east of the flight line
