Heading out to Sheble Aviation for the commercial singe and maybe the Multi. Wish me Luck!!!!! Any last words of advise.???
 
Sheble's is great if you make it that way. In other words, study ahead of time and stay far away from the Laughlin Casinos :). The instructors are great too, so use them as a resource, but don't expect to be spoon fed.

Oh, I think they have a combined SEL/MEL course that cuts down the costs quite a bit, so consider that.
 
Be ready to be in the air well before the sun rises.. early to bed and early to rise there. Good luck. Good people there too from what little I saw not too long ago!
 
Did a Comm. SES with old Joe Sheble in 2000. Yes, you will be in the air at "0" dark thirty. Real nice folks and Joe had some of the best stories I had heard in years. Get sleep and enjoy!
 
Good Luck, Stay very hydrated!! With highs close to 120 every day your going to need it! As luck had it I never made it back out there. I am just going to stay back east to get it done. You'll do great. Stay away from walmart at night unless your armed, most of the casinos are junky and old, the Avi is one of the nicest though. If you have never been to the desert it is eye opening to see how the lifestyle is out there.

One more thing. I assume your flying into Vegas. Stop in Henderson for supplies there is a nice Costco there. Be sure to have some spare bottles of water in the car when you head to Laughlin. There are some long straights of roads between Vegas and Laughlin. It would suck to break down out there in the summer without water.

Wal-Mart in Bullhead at 2 AM is something I will never do again.

So I saw that you got your commercial, congrats BTW. When you get a chance give us a write up of your training and checkride at Sheble. Did you just do the SEL or did you do the MEL also? How was the heat?:D
