After landing in Washington DC - Spencer's parents asked if he could come check out the cockpit - the captain and I were more than happy to show him around. I really enjoy when the kids come visit, good stuff.

It's a lot smaller than I thought it would be the first time I saw it in person. You think the same?

Looks like a football with wings. Something tells me that this thing will still somehow make it into production. They just need the right people to manage the company. I saw it the other day at FSD and thoght "holly....... It's still flying!?!"

I thought the same thing as you, for some reason I always thought it was a big airplane, but I remember when I first saw it in the museum I was like, Wow! This thing is tiny!

Ya, it seemed a little small to me too but I could not get over how the designers built this thing with only slide-rules and very orderly haircuts. The curves in the airframe are beautiful.

It was cool to see it in person. I think the "personal jet market" is way to small to be profitable. It seems like if you can afford to buy something like this you are way better off buying a used Lear or, if you really do love flying, a single pilot citation and putting it on a charter certificate.

That dude is in his backseat! But if it is in the TriState area, that is pretty much the norm.

I'd venture to guess that that photo was taken on the the Jersey Turnpike southbound, right outside of EWR, I've had many a close call there myself watching takeoffs and landings instead of driving.

Edit: It also looks like he is stuck in traffic, which is also typical
