Sheble is great, especially for add-ons.
Be prepared and be patient. They run on organized chaos and it works for everyone.
If you are beyond PPL, you know the standards for the next rating, or should. Be ready for the checkride(s) you plan on taking before you get there. If you are hung up on one or two maneuvers, they will get you to the finish line. The instructors are not there to gouge you for money or build their flight time; this is the case at most FBOs. They are not really an FBO per se, they are in the business of finishing pilots. They do what it takes to get the job done. The prices are fair and they are in the minority of the few honest folks in the business.
I learned more about leadership than anything else while I was there. Joe Sheble has taught his son JoJo very well. They have been in the business a very long time for a reason. I was fortunate enough to see the youngest Sheble do his first solo flight and watch two very proud fathers in action.
I will definitely go back for CFI/I add-ons and MEI. Stay at the Avi, do not pay more than $25/night.
