Hey guys Leading Edge Aviation is currently looking for a couple CFIs for our U42 location here in Salt Lake City. Preferably CFII and MEIs, there is a good opportunity here to get some multi time because we are short on MEIs right now. I am a senior student at Purdue University studying Professional Flight Technology and I will be graduating in May. I am expecting to become a CFI by the end of this month and was wondering if you guys would need a full time CFI starting this summer? If so, may I send you my resume?

hambone, not really but you don't want too long of a commute as the typical flight instructor schedule is a little difficult to work out at first. Oncel your student load starts to build up it gets better.

Given the nature of the job I just don't know how you couldn't, even if you commute with airline benefits. It takes a little bit of time commitment till you get busy. Once you get busy the pay is pretty good for flight instruction. Instructors should be at least making 30K a year with a full schedule.
 
I will tell you whats wrong with Utah, that low cost of living and all those beautiful rocky mountain/red rock vistas off your wingtips. Do you guys need any ground school instructors? I work locally for an airline and would enjoy doing something like that on my off days.
