At least you're starting! I have 9 months of casual..and that's assuming they don't push my EAD back even more.
AD or ARC?

So I can use my UAV joke on you then?![]()
I forgot if you mentioned, but anything in particular you're looking to fly?
It has, they are assigning UAV straight from ROTC. They have their own IFS curriculum at Doss too.How about a PC-12 then?
There's going to be a bit of a glut of A-10 pilots, now that the Spang unit is closing fully; not to mention the three ANG and one AFRES unit.
M-28 would be better than MQ-1
I don't know if the separate UAV track fully took hold.....I haven't heard.
To Soku, do the best you can in all phases, especially since your airplane might be going away- same thing happened to me, you want to be able to walk in at another unit and say here I am, paid for and finished x/25 out of other dudes.
To Drew, yes the UAV pipeline is up and running but how are going to fill the manning for the epically high fail rates...
Good point, I did hear there is a pretty large failure rate at IFS for the UAV track.

Man that is absolutely crazy, well just try not to get too anxious, and take as much leave as possible. I feel so bad, all these kids in my class have no kidding been in del rio for like 9 months, I showed up like a week and a half ago and am starting at the same time. It might be part time work, but the guard does have its advantages.
Then when they get FAIPs, they can stay in Del Rio an additional 3 years.![]()

For an AD guy, that's sound advice.
For ANG/AFRC, I would hoard your leave and get a payout when you go off orders to help soften the blow for bum pay. The $10k or so you'll get for 80+ days of leave is VERY NICE!
And don't let retards convince you that you're giving up money by not taking leave. You're getting paid full pay + benefits while you work the order, and then get the base pay leave ON TOP of that. Not in lieu of. I still don't know why people think getting leave paid out is a bad deal.
