What's the schedule like for the PA31 guys? 6 days a week?
Generally 5 days a week. The bank runs are roughly 06xx to 21xx M-F The UPS runs are usually 05xx to 18xx Tu-F and about 14xx-18xx on Monday. Some are M-Sa, with just Saturday morning.

Do you get moved around a lot or do you tend to stay in the same base
You stay in the same base unless you bid something elsewhere. All up to you, but if you want to upgrade, you'll probably have to move. There's a 1900, metro and a few 99's in pdx, but you'd be dreaming if you think you'd ever get one. Probably take over 2 years.

What's sitting down near Salt Lake City? Is that a fairly senior base?
It's all turbine but no Bro. It's reasonable to get a 99 there. I wouldn't hardly call anything all that senior that is all turbine. There's a ton of turnover.

When did the metro come back to PDX, and were does it go now? There were a few metros back in 07-08 and all gone by 2010...

The only Metro I know of out of PDX is the one that passes through from Seattle on its way down to OAK.

The number for AMF is a generic 800-800-4538. Call during business hours and ask for Sheri Hudson. Best way to get an interview is to apply online and then call to say you applied to talk to her, otherwise they will forget about you. If anyone has trouble after that I'm more than happy to walk in a resume. I'm a Burbank based pilot.

Bump... Anyone know what the contract terms are like. Last time around I signed a non-prorated 18 month. Can't say I am too willing to do that again.

I got the feeling that if you don't have some 135, PA31, or turbo prop time you might not want to call. The call seemed to be doomed until I mentioned having a couple hundred hours of PA31 time.

the 99 is only a six month commitment. all typed turbine aircraft are a year. although if you start in the 99 there is an initial one year commitment.

I thought they hired a lot of low time multi pilots?
