Subpilot and his kids

Took the kids up for a half hour lesson each. The kids helped with the pre-flight and everything. Good day of learning and fun! Jeremy says Dillan (our ten year old) had the best first flight he has ever seen. He was holding altitudes, turning and decending. He even came in on the downwind and flew the whole pattern. Very proud father to say the least. He has a video of him flying, maybe he will get it posted. What a great way to spend a Saturday!

One of my favorite things about flying... Sharing it with the people we care about. My six year old neice knows what she wants to do in life. (For now atleast)

You are really showing your years with that comment, lol. They gained the lights but they lost a runway (30R is gone).

I flew from TLR to FCH in a Cherokee Six, well, in the back seat, with a new owner and a flight instructor at night and it intrigued the hell out of me how you can fly into an airport, at night, with reflectors only. Weird!

What grand photos! You two have some beautiful children! My Dad took me on my first flight when I was just 4 and a half. I never forgot it either. I used to take my own kids flying like this whenever I could and now I take my grand kids and my sister in law's two boys. Start em young! Just a wonderful experience for them on so many levels and great bonding times and the opportunity for them to learn so many things. Thanks for posting these. Really got a kick outta them. The expressions on their little happy faces, just says it all.

Thanks everyone! We have a happy little pilot family...well maybe not so little. LOL I told my husband it would be awesome if Dillan could land the plane on his own in a couple years and got his pilots liscense on his 17th birthday.
