They don't do FO to Capt in the 120, the progression would be more like EMB-120 sic to pa31 PIC or maybe be99 pic, then 1900/sa227 pic THEN emb120 pic.

The reason they probably turned it down it, to be honest, if you want to be a brazilia FO, you could go to skywest and probably have it better. The pay is worse than the pa31 pay, and you're logging SIC, which most people did not go to amflight for.
Also, curious... the 1 person that took it, have they been working there for a bit? I might know that person.

Sorry I may have said it wrong, all but 1 of my Aquitaines that interviewed we're offered the 120 FO job, but none of them wanted to fly the 120 sic...

Well I would want to fly the 120 if I would move from FO to the left seat but... flying single pilot IFR is way more bad @ss...

The EMB-120 used to be set up like the lears where the FOs were higher seniority guys with a bunch of TPIC. When the last industry pilot hiring spree occured they turned the EMB-120 into an entree level job and the pay dropped with the flight time requirements.

I know of one guy that is an FO around the 750TT mark. Never know. Fill out the app and see hat happens if you are low time.

Hmm. Looking at the application they ask about having '2 or more moving violations in the last 3 years.' I have 2, (both my fault, but for dumb reasons) in just UNDER 3 years....does anyone know if this is an automatic DQ item or will they just want to look closer at my record?

Also, how would upgrade from the 31 to the 99 (for someone starting in the 31) work if they are hiring people straight into both? Seniority based or what?

Thanks

People I have known have upgraded from the 31 to 99 in under a year.

Well considering there is direct hiring into the BE-99 I'll let you figure out if it is seniority based. o_O

A quick upgrade is based on being in the right place at the right time for the most part. Otherwise you will probably be waiting 6-9 months for an upgrade out of the PA-31 at this point.

I seriously got pretty close getting getting a metro slot in under a year. Insurance didn't like my flight times :(

I've seen 350hr commercial FO's go into rightseat of Bro than @ 1200hrs move to 99 captain. But yeah we're hiring with possible new business coming.
