Anybody know the full story here?

A capt I flew w last week told me a story about getting on an empty airplane. He went back to use the lav and a bird popped up from behind a seat and flew into the cockpit. He came out of the lav and looked around, saw no bird, thought nothing more about it. Pushback, check the rudder and low and behold the bird comes out of the pedals and flies smack into the capts face. then disapears back into the pedals. They end up having mx come out, open all the windows and doors, remove the fms's, open the avionics bay and access panels and flushed the thing out. Crazy story and a good thing it happened on the ramp and not at v1.
What's worse than a little boy bringing his two new tiny pet turtles home with him on a plane and one of them escaping during flight? Hearing the crunch under your shoe during a visit to the galley. True story. lol

I found a luna moth in the galley once on one of my last flights as an FA.... i flew up from behind a cart and at my face.... I dont know who was more scared.....me or the pax that heard me scream!

there was an AOPA story about a snake that was on a plane one time. pilot found it in flight. wrapped around the flap handled and his arm i think.

I remember my highschool football coach once telling me in a very, um, insightful man to man coming of age talk, "no one ever shows up to work and finds pus...(you know) waiting for them". I'm seriously going to e-mail him the original picture and say "guess I picked the right career".
