Slow/crashes in safari for iOS

Alright dough, here's the deal...
Mobile skin is completely crash free for me. The default is just as crashy as the dark. Crashed safari 3 times trying to edit my last post in my gun advice thread. Switched to the mobile skin and it worked perfectly. Again, safari for iOS on iPad 2, running iOS 5.
