FFDO Program still going on?

Does anyone have any information on the FFDO program? No one at the TSA or DHS knows anything about it and they all say to refer to the website which says absolutist nothing.

Same here. Been waiting to here back for almost a year. Called the TSA, DHS and no one knows anything. So I finally got in touch with someone at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Ga, who gave me contact info for someone in Nm, who then then forwarded my information onto the FFDO coordinator there. So I'm just waiting now.

KCM is a great thing, but I'm not doing this for the reason to just bypass TSA. I heard its an absolute fun, informative program that I would like to take part in.

I got excepted a couple years ago but never went to training and so it expired. Last I checked it is still going on.

Once you're accepted, you have two years to complete training and if you don't, then it gets dropped and you will have to reapply.

I sent the email 2-3 months ago. At the time the website said all 2011 slots had been filled, and they would contact people later for 2012. I have yet to hear anything.

Same here. Sent a few emails between March and now and nothing. Thats my tax dollars hard at work!

Right now they have quite a bit of applications so they are not accepting any at the moment.
