Really a powerful and challenging thing to train for.Honestly, the hard part of the instrument is over. You already know how to fly, now it's just applying what you know from the written into practice. I can honestly say that thats the only written I ever took that actually helped me with the flying part.

Great tip! Appreciated. I'm doing the whole deal (MEII) through the VA.Congrats! Thats one of the harder written tests. If you are thinking about becoming a CFI in the near future (next two years) take the CFII written test while the info is still in your brain. It's the same test. You'll thank your self down the road.
