Passed Instrument written today!

Very excited! Flying to Vegas tomorrow to bet against ASU... well.... and a little work and celebration too.

That is all.
 
Honestly, the hard part of the instrument is over. You already know how to fly, now it's just applying what you know from the written into practice. I can honestly say that thats the only written I ever took that actually helped me with the flying part.

Ditto. The cool thing about the IR is that everything you do has some kind of practical application. Really a powerful and challenging thing to train for.

That's what everyone has been telling me. Checkride shortly after the 1st of the year.

I would have to say that this has been the most "fun" I've had with a rating, whether ATC or flying. Guess it also helps that my CFI is a kickass dude.
 
Congrats! Thats one of the harder written tests. If you are thinking about becoming a CFI in the near future (next two years) take the CFII written test while the info is still in your brain. It's the same test. You'll thank your self down the road.

Great tip! Appreciated. I'm doing the whole deal (MEII) through the VA.
