Good news for Delta Connection - 202 new flights to be added at LGA announced today.
Not sure which DL Connection carriers will get them, but the equipment will include the EMB-145, EMB-170, EMB-175, CRJ-700, & CRJ-900.

Also, there will be 18 new flights added at LGA for Delta mainline pilots.

...And finally, a question for anyone who flies the EMB-170. Can that jet make it from LGA to DFW with a full load, typical headwinds, and enough fuel for an alternate? Thanks.

But we just got 18 new mainline flights.
Count 'em... 18 !!!

That amounts to....what....5 more mainline jobs?

Just got done drinking champagne in celebration.

Burrrrp!

:D

202 RJ routes, or should I say, Mainline routes with Mainline equipment with RJ Pilots. 18 Mainline routes, sweet!

Is someone getting a bunch of new 145's or is this just a shifting of Delta routes again? I think we knew this was coming for a while now with the approval of the slot swap at LGA. Is this such a bad thing?

Looks like a lot of 145 flight and as of now DL only has 24 flying for them, maybe the plan is to move them all to LGA.

ture, however i feel like FFT isn't really the direct competitor to Delta like AA is.

There are routes where they literally overlap though.

For example Delta put a DCI flight on MCI-LAX. There are also some from MKE. Now DEN-LGA will be another in a few months.

Another question from a while back discussed on here...a spare plane floats around with no paint scheme and takes gas paid for by Delta or US Airways and flies their own brand's flight with it next. Yikes!

Primarily why when our union leadership wanted us to writ letters to "help us win in NYIC" I was like... "Meh...."

That's alota routes, LGA towers gonna be having a ball /sarcasm

Almost all of those routes are currently flown in the US Airways system, many with more frequencies than Delta is planning to run. I doubt there is going to be much of an increase in the ops tempo of the airport. That's the whole point of the slot structure.

Are all the LGA-DFW flights seriously on a regional? Really starts you worrying about your long-term career...
