Why do people think gold, and thus, Ron Paul, have intrinsic worth? As if Jesus Himself came down and said, "Buy gold, dudes, it's pretty sweet."

I was joking guys, to an extent in my post before.
I do think we will continue to see this inflation we have been seeing, and we have been seeing it the last 5 years. I do not think milk will go through the roof to $25 bucks, but I will tell ya one thing from my keep it simple stupid Rick world. Milk was 1.69-1.99/gallon when I started college in 05/06, gas was 1.49/gal but going up fast by then, and a college education in NJ was 30% less than now. Milk is $2.99 on a good day normally 3.49, gas 3.29 in Miami on the best deal in South Florida and College up 4 grand/year on a 10k tuition.
I think a Ron Paul supporter and a request to audit this ass backwards federal reserve, that supports and at the same time breast feeds off the IMF, is not that extreme at all. We have seen this massive growth and change in our GOVT in the last 25ish years, and seen a huge whipsaw to the middle class in the last 15ish.... I do not want to keep going on politics on a website forum for pilots, but I do not think I am that off the wall, key word think.....
