That was an amazing commercial, it was a tribute to the one group of people you can't really contract out forever, the guys you really can't go with out. I am not trying to put down any other airline employee or call your job insignificant, I really just wish that an American company could show even a glimmer to the amount respect that commercial shows

I don't know what if any union issues that are going on at BA, but the couple of times I have flown them, I had simply OUTSTANDING service. I can't say the same for ANY U.S. carrier I have flown in the last 15 years...well, except maybe SWA and as for Delta...meh.

Speak for yourself. I got into this profession to make six figures for flying to Paris and back a couple of times a month and bang hot stews.

Thusfar, I've been slightly disappointed.

Cool, classy commercial. Pilots in this country could use a little PR like that. Sans backpacks, ear buds and spiky hair(Or Justin Bieber hair.).

Just an afterthought. . . . . After all the pomp, soft piano music and elegance, right there at the end; it would have been cool if Mr. Bean was sitting in the left seat of the 747 throwing the thrust levers forward while his big googly eyes look straight into the camera. BA should really look into using Rowan Atkinson as a spokesperson. ;)

Same here. When they bring the throttles up and those Olympus engines come to life, just awesome. I still wish I could have flown Concorde at least once in my life :(
