"N236MJ"

it hides out at PKT a bit

Jordan makes a strong case for being the greatest professional basketball player ever (if you're in to that sort of thing). He's also, by multiple first hand accounts, one of the biggest jerks ever to gladiate for our collective amusement. I can't imagine it would be a fun job...like flying for Martha Stewart if she were 6'6 and surly.

OTOH, I've heard that Magic is a pretty decent human being...and he has a cooler ride, too. Sign me up!

32MJ is a late serial number vscf GIII, as close to a GIV as you can get and stick with the Speys. A very nice aircraft and a top notch captain.

(VSCF= variable speed constant frequency, almost the same as a GIV electrical system)

I think it used to be chartered out by ADI at PTK/MBS. I've seen it at YIP a few times under the "Dynajet" callsign. Looks pretty sharp in person!

Yo MJ, i'mma letchu fly around in your G-IV, but Magic has the pimpest G-whiz jet of any basketball player.

That's a pretty nice plane actually. He came in to our FBO a couple times while I was working line a few years back. He was a really nice guy, he even hung out in the FBO with us while the crew prepped the airplane.

I was chillin in TEB when he came through on his way to the Final Four last year. There were a couple of kids and their dads waiting for their ride to show up. Magic struck up a conversation with the kids about their basketball "careers", OFFERED to sign autographs and take pictures, and just went way out of his way to give the kids something to remember. After about 10 minutes of mingling, his crew came in to get him. They waited patiently until he finished up with the kids, at which time he said "Ok kids, gotta go. Don't wanna keep my crew waiting"

Seems like a helluva guy.

Mark Cuban has a 1999 G-V, a B-757 and a B-767. I think he wins. He may not have his own shoe line but he was on Entourage.

QT hush kit, approx 1M installed. I could never tell the difference. GIII is a solid aircraft that some pilots prefer over a GIV because of the engines and lighter weight. I've also talked to some who say they like the GIIB (not an SP) most of all for the same reasons. (I hate working on GII's)
