I've been kind of quiet lately, too much going on... I'll be moving next week to start a new job (not in aviation) in TN! Moving up in the world of nuclear power!

But thought I'd check in and see who's around in the Chattanooga area?

How's the flying down there?

Congratulations!

I'm not around there, but I grew up around there. I think you will like the area and the Southern Hospitality. Going to be working at TVA?

Couple weeks ago I flew a small piston single to that area. Stayed couple days near KAPT. Nice airport, CAVU all weekend. I was very surprised to see only an ultralight and a law enforcement helo flying. I think there is not much GA flying in Chattanooga area.

I am in Nashville, we need to meet up some time
 
Im about half way from ATL to CHA. If your looking for a reasonable place to rent PM me. There is a couple of places I'd be happy to show you around just south of CHA.
 
I am flying outta Nashville, I know there are a few places to rent around here, not too sure about CHA though.. If anybody wants to meet up, and split some time, Im all for it...
 
TVA? Congrats. I'm in Rockwood, bout forty five from CHA. 25 mins. from Watts Bar Nuclear. May split some time with ya if interested. Looking for a safety pilot for ifr time building. I mostly fly from KCSV.

Yep, TVA. Sequoyah. Gonna strap on the SRO (Senior Reactor Operator) boots.

I went and got checked out at Hixson Aviation at Dallas Bay Airpark. Good group of people and an interesting airport to say the least!

I'm still looking for a permanent place, somewhere north of Chatt would be ideal. Hixson area looks really nice.
