And for those of you who are actually arguing with these conspiracy theorists, you might want to take a look at their profiles. They were all in about the 5th grade when these events happened. I'm sure they'll grow up in a few years and realize how foolish they are looking right now.

I'm not taking sides here either. . And I don't know what happened on 911. I take the debunkers at their word that they sincerely believe that "nobody in the government can keep a secret", and that "the US Government would never stoop to such depths". . They're pilots, not Intelligence Operatives or National Security historians. . Very few have been stationed in Washington D.C. or had business on Capital Hill . . So their perspective is limited to their own experience, which makes these 911 suspicions nonsensical.
Outside some debunkers' behavior and attempts to bury this thread in sarcastic commentary, I respect their views. . Intelligence techniques and Black Ops are not taught in any public school I know of, so most people think this material is just fictional movie material. . And the impact of these Operations on civilian aviation are also little known. . If those hanging on this thread merely to mock it and declare their "total lack of interest in the thread" would quiet down (or go to that beer & BBQ), then those who have professional or historical insight and experience in this area might be willing to log on and start sharing what they know. . Its an interesting story, and it has relevance for pilots and commercial aviation. . No kidding.

There is a great story that isn't being told here due to all the emotional and ill-informed sniping going on. .
For those who ARE interested in some pre-requisite info, then Operation Midnight Climax and Operation Northwoods (aviation related) serve as starter courses into the Government's ability to keep the ugliest of Black Op secrets for decades. . Operation Ajax (featured on the CIA's own website) is also an eye opener, as are the congressional hearings into the Iran-Contra C-130 drug flights into the U.S. . There are hundreds of similar declassified files that give insight into why these Ops are launched, and how they are conducted to keep government involvement secret or provide "plausible denial" (including cases that involve aviation). . After people study these fascinating declassified documents, it becomes easier to understand how some rogue Government agency might (I said "might" ) have been involved in 911, and why the issue won't go away until the questions are answered. .
Without a study of these Operations and others like them, I'm sympathetic with the debunkers' inability to comprehend the unrelenting 911 suspicions . . From a lay person's (average pilot's) standpoint, they sound pretty far fetched. . But I'm sure there are some Black Ops pilots out there who have knowledge of these Ops, and how secrets are kept. . Not every government agency operates like Congress or the DMV. . Some are pretty competent. .

I'm sure the buildings weren't brought down by charges, missiles, Rosie O'Donnel jumping on them but I would not be surprised to find out our govt sanctioned or let this happen.

If it was just an oversight, I understand, but that particular spelling error immediately gave me pause, and I find your perspective intriguing...
