How much money do you think a GV instructor pilot makes?

I am curious as to the nature of the OP intent. If anyone has a serious question about FlightSafety, feel free to PM me.

Dan, FYI another good training session last week. You've got a good group.
How did John's eye surgery go?

Thanks. Johns surgery went well. Seriously, next time remind me that you are the 'stevec'. I knew you were coming in soon,
had no idea that was you last week.

Well, sometimes it's nice to stay below the radar - especially come check ride time.

I don't know about GIV but a PC-12 ground school instructor and sim operator makes about 60K/yr if that sets some ground work.

The lesson I'm taking away from this thread is that a lot of aviation folks seriously over-value their worth in the industry.

No big deal. Engineers often teach groundschool on certain aircraft that require them.

That's cool, and I get that.

I'm talking about giving full motion sim instruction that counts towards a rating. I can tell you how you do it part 121/135 without a flight instructors certificate, but I have no idea how the FAA would sign off on providing what is equivalent to flight instruction (counts as getting in the plane and flying it in the eyes of the FAA) if you didn't even hold a pilot certificate of some sort.

Or am I confused on that part, and it was just a ground instructor that didn't have a pilot certificate, as opposed to a sim instructor.

John I'm pretty sure they are rated pilots, but I do know sim instructors over there who are not even CFIs.

If you are referring to my first comments, it was a ground school instructor that I was talking about that was a RIO.

Get back to school old man.
