Solo Flight

Good video, but my advice would be not to mess with a video camera while you're still learning. At this point you should be doing your best to minimize distractions.
 
Yea i was weary about filming while flying but there was no traffic around and it was actually my dads idea to film, just cause he thought it would be cool. And i soloed for about an hour, and only played with it for a few mins, wasnt messin around the entire time!!!
 
Yea, now that i look back shuoldnt ahve bee, butit was actually my dads idea, just i guess cause he thought it would be cool to look back on, and i soled for about an hour and only touched it for maybe 5 mins, so i wasnt up there messin around with it all the time!!
 
Good job on the solo, however as many have pointed out already the video camera idea was simply not smart.

There is more to being a good pilot then simply knowing how to fly a plane. Be careful with your decision making process or it can land you in a world of hurt.

????? I still say that. I ABSOLUTELY INSIST that all my students turn off their laptops and and angry birds before we start each flight!
 
Congratulations on the solo! Be careful about that recording though, at this point in your training you just need to focus completely on flying, all that fancy video stuff can come later down the road when you are much more proficient. Good luck on the rest of your training.
