Pilots Bill of Rights.

It reeks of "special circumstances".

Can we use reform? You bet your patootie! But his only interest in changing the rules is because it personally affected him and I think, as aviators, we have bigger fish to fry that affect us all, not just a singular, embarrassed politico.

The legislation is fairly decent, the guy proposing it is a tool. I would like to see it pass, why wouldn't I want added protection for my certs?

For once you have tasted the wrath of FAA Enforcement Action - you will forever walk the earth, with your eyes turned down, wondering how the heck this could have happened to you - and how in the world you could have been left absolutely defenseless.

Isn't this the 2nd investigation or stunt in airplanes he pulled? I wish I would get that lenient of treatment from the FAA. What the investigation should be is the disposition of other cases where more stringent certificate action was taken and the accused was not a senator. That should be the news item. Cue CCR's fortunate son.
