PNCL's new CEO

I just read the letter from Sean Menke our new CEO and I am shocked to say that I think this is a CEO I am going to like. I didn't have that "just got propositioned by a used car salesman" feeling that I usually get after reading letters from Upper corporate management.

Here's to hoping he affects the change he seems to be hinting at!

I think we will really like him. I really like that he wants to create a place that cares about the employees and strives for accountability.

Hopefully good things are ahead.

I liked how he signed it as just " Sean", hopefully he will do good things!

Ya'll bookmark this thread and come back and have a good laugh a year from now.

After everything we've been through, there is little room to move anywhere but up.

I've got to keep a positive attitude and keep laughing, otherwise I'd probably cry and drink myself stupid.

(well I occasionally drink myself stupid anyway, just for the heck of it)

Well we did get slightly better health insurance out of the deal here at mesaba.....

Except for all those pilots who had all their info put in the computers wrong so the insurance company wouldn't pick up the bill for the first few months.

well that makes things even better. This hope and change is in theory a good thing, in actuality not so great :D

I wonder how many management personnel will be cancelling or postponing their vacations this summer? The recent change to SAAB FO vacation schedules for the month of July is an example of poor planning, poor management and a complete and utter failure to LEAD...People want to be LEAD not managed! So, I call on management to lead by example and get this ship on the right course and STOP making excuses.
