Oops...stuck mic houston center

I would consider FA's at my company around the age of 30 to be "young inexperienced hotties."

Good lord, there's somewhere with FA's that are under 45? Most of the ones that I fly with have sons my age.

You're saying at most work places employees feel that the older women (30?) should be fired and replaced with young inexperienced hotties? I work in the higher levels of IT (complex not management) for a private utility. I've also worked as an Air Traffic Controller and IT consultant. Not saying I don't notice an attractive woman but I do respect my female coworker, the knowledge and experience they bring to the table.

I'd understand wanting all women replaced with young hotties if I worked in a strip club. Whats that pay, about $15 an hour?
30 is "an older woman"??? Dang, I just got old. :(

No, I did not say anything about women at all. I was referring only to the statement you made:

Yes ...and it pays well. There is no need to be critical of you team members. Welcome to the modern workplace.

.....which was in response to a statement:

would you describe your workplace environment as "fun" and/or "enjoyable"?

......which peaked my curiosity and made me wonder what "modern workplace" is fun and enjoyable, pays well, and no one is critical of their team members. I have worked in engineering for 15 years, which could be considered fun, enjoyable, and paying well, but regardless of age, gender and sexual orientation of my coworkers, most offices have been a den of contempt and divisiveness, hence my remarks. Sorry if I detracted from the context of the OP.

.....but since we went there, I think the guy made a careless mistake. We all say/think things in private that we would not want broadcasted. We have no right to judge him for his opinions, only for his carelessness. His personal opinions are his. He had an expectation of privacy when he stated them, and no intention of sharing them on the radio. Terminate? no. Reprimand for being careless? yes.

:yeahthat:

On the way into IAD yesterday I had a stuck mic. When I got it figured out I apologized to tower and he said "no problem, at least you didn't say anything bad!"

Was very strange, just started transmitting even though I didnt press either PTT.
