What will be some good materials to read to help me on my road to dispatch? I am studying for the ADX test, but I will like a little reading metarial for the fuel truck.

Any weather books would be great. Just never know if you'll get a examiner that's a stickler for weather.

When I was stuck in the avgas truck for 8 hours straight all I read was the ATP test prep and the ATP Oral exam guide, IMO the best books ever for it.

I have the test prep for the PC, but I need something when I am at work and away from my PC. I have the the Gleim book on order, but I am after other readings also.

You're welcome - sorry about the double post, I thought my first one hadn't gone through. Of the books listed on that Sheffield page, I can personally recommend "The Weather Book" as being extremely informative.

Im telling ya the ATP Oral Exam Guide is a great way to go. I memorized the that one and all of the others for all of my checkrides. It all questions an examiner could ask and the best answers for them. Its a little green book you can pick up at most flight schools for about $10.

Not the whole thing, but the same can be said for the ATP test prep book. Theres a few sections in there that go over weather, dispatch and IFR stuff. But find me any other book that covers the Oral part of the FAA exam.

I'm not honestly a huge fan with the approach of over-studying material before you show up. How do you know what is relevant and what isn't? I think if you just study the ATP written and pass the ADX, you won't have to do a whole lot else. It will put you in good shape to show up for class and digest relevant material. Professionals obviously keep learning their entire careers, so you'll have plenty of time to study relevant material at an air carrier.
