Anyone lose the embossed copy of their written results?

I know - it says right on there - do not lose this report - but apparently I did. Getting ready for the checkride either late next week or early the week after, and the last I remember, i had put the embossed copy of the results in my Gleim knowledge test guide, and can't find it now.

Has anyone ever had to deal with getting replacement copy on relatively short notice? Not sure if I need to work the issue through the FAA or through lasergrade. Any help appreciated.

If you use IACRAA you probably won't need it. All they need is the number. Ask whoever scheduled the checkride to check with the examiner. (That is as long as you have the number.)

(I only know because I forgot mine at home and was going to have to go all the way back (4 hours round trip) to get it, but my instructor told me I wouldn't need it as long as I had the number (which I had a picture on my computer).)

Thanks y'all - I need to get my IACRAA going so this is good to know. I'm guess that by "number" you mean the exam ID? (its pretty long)

I may have time to get a replacement, but not sure how long that replacement takes. It gives no indication on the form.

Not sure what it's called, but it's the unique ID to identify your test and results. I'd have to pull out a copy of the results to see.

I had a roommate that thought it'd be a funny prank to shred it 2 days before my PPL. I ended up taking it again the morning of my checkride.

call off the dogs!
well - I spent some time mentally rehashing all my steps and thoughts between last time I saw it and now, and I remembered that I have a folder labeled "FAA Stuff" folder for stuff from the FAA, and I found it in there. big sigh of relief.

If I had a roommate like that, I'd think it would be pretty damn funny to use his cell phone to take a video of me scratching my buttcrack with his toothbrush and then see how many days it took for him to find the video and watch it.

But that's just me

He was a tool, no doubt. I took his girlfriend, who will soon be my fiance, so I got even.

The FAA will mail you a new one for $1.

With 2 days I would have had to reschedule or take it again, I didn't mind taking it again
