Pinacolaba SLI

That's because at Mesaba, when you don't hire, have barely any movement, no upgrades (asides from a couple to LGA SF340), there's not a whole lot changing on the XJ list. Since the 07-08 furloughs, there haven't been any additions to the Mesaba list until the recent hiring cycle to fill LGA FO positions. Compare that to the Pinnacle list, with no furloughs since the 9/11 furloughs, constant stream of upgrades, newhires, terminations, resignations, and reinstatement from termination, you're bound to have a few errors here and there.

I was kidding about their list being poifect..

Why do you always seem so angry?

07 furloughs? Didn't know Mesaba had any 07 furloughs? Huh I'll be?

With that awsome contract you guys had I wonder why any would would leave in the last 10 years? I mean you are a JET pilot after all. It's nice keeping that constant flow going at the expense of the industry. I bet if I ran a regional and paid nothing people would still come to fly my RJ's. It's all about the PIC and yourself.:sarcasm:

Sobchak, what heavy are you flying these days? Oh, that's right, you are employed by Mesaba. A regional airline. You are a regional pilot. You are no different than any other regional pilot occupying any other regional jet's cockpit. Get over yourself.

Heavy? So if he was flying a 757 for Omni or something like that for less than I make his opinion would be worth more? Eh, I think it's time for you all to hug and make up.

Everyone is going right for the hay-maker here.

Yeah, well, they are called the female dog boards for a reason. I've always assumed from your tones and comments it had more to do with what segment of the industry we worked in rather than the title of the section.

Should I change my mind and say the regionals are making great pay and deserve what they're getting? If so, then we can delete about 85% of the posts in the Airline Pilot forum that complain about regional pay, TAs and whether they're good or not, equitable pay for equitable work, the woes of Mesa/Colgan/Mesaba/Pinnacle (fill in the regional blank).

Gonna make a huge jump here, but based off your comments, Regionals = gangland. That means I'm gangsta- excellent!

Awww. I could take you by Hickory Hood for a warmup?

I've been told there's worse than the Hollow Point haha. Haven't heard of Hickory Hood but there is the Homeboy Inn.

It actually wasn't all that terrible to me but some others in my class had some bad experiences. Cars broken into, hookers in the parking lot, and gun shots at night that I apparently didn't hear over FedEx. Oh well... just learning how to fit in with the Pinacolaba Gangstas.

The Mesaba street members sporting red colors?

Joe, take it however you want to take it. You know what I meant. At least a haymaker is better than the below the belt underhanded garbage that is being slung around.

You almost have to disagree with me though, you "liked" his post, which is confusing considering where you started your regional career. That's not a dig on Colgan, but Walt is trying to make a point based on pay related to damage to the industry. What were you making at 9L, or were those payrates acceptable simply because you were not flying a shiny regional jet, like Walter?

Everyone at the regional level is part of the "problem." All the God's gift to aviation Mesaba boys included.

It's really pretty funny how condescending you guys want to be, then you suggest hugs. Your obvious attitude towards 9E masked with "hugs" talk is starting to make my stomach hurt. It reminds me of a good friend of mine in college who loved to fight. He'd talk trash until it got to a point where guys decide to shake and let bygones be bygones and as his "opponent" would reach to shake Dave would reach out with his right hand to shake only to help pull the guy into the wicked left hook that was already on the way to dudes face. Those who knew Dave, knew better. I'm starting to know better.

Sure, hugs if that's what you need, just stop asking for hugs and thrn snickering while punching us in the kidneys during the kumbaya moment.

Until you guys realize we are all in this TOGETHER, management is going to pit us all against each other. You guys make whipsaws easy.

Welcome to the family.
