What is PDP?

I'm studying for a couple of airline interviews and I've seen a couple of gouges for one that mention PDP? I haven't had any luck finding any info about this. Is it the same or similar to VDP?

Yep. A Planned Descent Point is basically a VDP that isn't published and you calculate your self using time or distance.

That will work for a 3 degree glidepath
