Finally leaving India!!

Well after almost 3 years of having to deal with the frustration, incompentance, and overall danger of flying in India, I will be moving home by the end of this week. I can't even begin to start how to describe my experience here. From almost dieing in a hospital due to plain Indian stupidity to all the fights I had with management just to get a somewhat safe aircraft to train their logbook stuffing pilots in.

Stateside plans are relaxation for at least 3 months untill I start looking for work. Thinking about going to A&P school as well since I'll be most likely buying a Stinson 108 on floats. Anyhow had to shout out cause it feels so good to be leaving. :yup:

I have been following your posts for quite some time and wish you good luck in coming back to the stateside. I bet India is a VERY different place to live than other countries. It is not one of the countries that I would visit though, but look from far away.

If there is a small chance you'll be by Nashville, then let me know.

Congrats on getting out of there, I know being back in the states will be great. Good luck to you in whatever you decide to end up doing once you have been back.

Too bad you're not leaving next month as I could have been your pilot on your egress from India!
