Nice picture.

This was the best I could get of the moon last night with my cell phone camera.

So you come here and take pictures of my home field, and don't even bother to say hi?

I see how you are.

I had no idea that was your home field, I definitely would have said hi! Cool airport.

Of course, now I'm noticing that beneath your avatar. I thought you were up near Phoenix for some reason.

I thought I recognized that mountain line in the back. That and all the DC9s in Northwest Paint.

Mike, are those Apaches still based at the end of the runway. I think the call sign was Gunslinger? I almost ran into the back end of one of them once in a Cessna. They were doing 180 autos to the taxiway and completely overshot and ended up lined up with the runway, right in front of us. Fun stuff.

Yeah, the D-model Apaches of 285th Attack Batallion of the AZ ARNG, as well as the Singapore Army are still based there. The A-model Apaches of the WAATS training facility and the OH-58s are based there too still.

My last day flying pipeline before shipping off to a new job. A very fitting farewell sunrise out in Midland, TX!
