I just finished my sim ride for a shiny new SIC type. Thanks to SmoothLanderJ for helping me get hired!:beer:
 
How is good ole SmoothLanderJ doing at Vision these days? Congratulations on the new SIC type! Are you on the 73' as well?
 
Thanks! He is good, flying a bunch from what he has told me while I have been away. I am not on the 73, I am on the 328. But hey, you gotta start somewhere, right!?

Now if I can just work my way up to where you are, cmhumphr, I will be set!!!:rawk:
 
D is for diploma! Everything else is showing off. :)

I've had an ugly checkride or two that I passed. It's just like an ugly touchdown. Puts the same points on the board as a pretty one.
 
Wow how have I missed this thread?!....hey man congrats, and I'm very glad I could help. I look forward to seeing you in VPS and yes consuming much beer...WINNING!! LOL! Hey let me know when you start IOE....

I've flown one ride I considered "marginal" (I do self-critique a lot)...but...remember...Passing is passing! 'Grats. :beer:
 
ASA had on in VPS the other day, and it definitely brought back some memories. I like that plane a lot and its DEFINITELY a good looking airplane.

I thought I was marginal on my IR ride, but the DE was ranting and raving about how I rocked it and flew one of the best Instrument rides he's ever given so what do I know...Congrats to the OP!

Ok fine, he said I was the most dangerous pilot he's ever flown with and issued me a temporary just so he would never have to fly with me again :). Sound more accurate? Do you know any of the DEs out of ABQ FSDO?
