Looking for interesting/fun airports to fly to

I fly out of KOSU in Columbus OH and I'm looking to build my cross country time this year. Does anyone have any recommendations for some fun airports to fly to? I'll probably stick to Ohio for most of my time, but wouldn't mind creeping into any of the surrounding states.

Thanks for any help anyone can offer.
 
I69 for free hot dogs any Saturday, KLUK for a Sky Galley burger, KLEX in April for Keeneland, KFFT for a really scenic traffic pattern over KY's capital city.
 
KBKL is a nice one... go into downtown for a lot of dinner selections
KCGF - Harry Buffalo is an excellent restaurant!... both FBOs have a car.
KTOL - always fun, could get a luck glance at an F16 or just see the DC8s on the cargo ramp


There's a lot outside of Ohio. You can go to Buffalo, NY for wings as well.
 
If you want to see F16s takeoff at TOL, come out pretty much any weekday around 8-9 am or around 2pm. They don't fly much on the weekends.

3W2 as said above is awesome. Also, Kelley's Island 89D if you are looking to put your short field narrow runway techniques into practice is just off of 3w2 and is nice and quiet. You can also go east towards I40 Cochocton and south towards Lancaster. Nice looking rolling hills and lots of trees in both areas there. Don't forget Lunken field near Cinci too.
 
Grimes Urbana - museum with B-17 under restoration; restaurant on field
Lost Nation - walk across the street to minor league ball game
Carroll Co. - choice of 2 restaurants on/near field
Lancaster - small air museum on field
New Philly -ice cream shop on field
Wellington - make Inverted25 give you free glider tows
Franklin PA - good Italian restaurant in terminal
Great Valley, NY (south of Buffalo) haven't been there yet but supposedly very good food
 
3w2 is great but brush up on those short field skills. I scared the crap outta myself going in there one time...

Are you with capital city?

MURedhawk: I'm with Columbus Northwest Flyers on the east ramp.
 
+1 for BKL. Rock and Roll HoF/museum is nice. The lakefront is fun too with good food.
