US flight to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

When are you going? If you can deal with LAX, Air Canada is $485 roundtrip going LAX-YYC-YXE-YYC-LAX. Aircraft on LAX-YYC is E190 and it's a CRJ operated by Jazz to and from YXE. If you fly from SNA to YXE it's going to be $1200 roundtrip going SNA-DEN-YXE-DEN-SNA on United/Air Canada.

Now if you are going after May 2nd Westjet is flying out of SNA to Vancouver starting 5/2 and you can go SNA-YVR-YXE-YYC-YVR-SNA for about $662 which is still very high.

Did many an overnight in the 'toon on the mighty Diesel.

One 17 hour layover, it was -40C, which, convienently enough, is also -40F. That was without the windchill.

The good news is that no Canadian airport is too small to have a miles long maze to follow to customs, so you are plenty warm when it's time to make the dash to the crew van.

I just got here for a layover an hour ago actually.

Although it was 3F a couple days ago when I checked, it's nice out right now at just above freezing.
