Entry Level Separation

Back in September of 2000, I was discharged from the Coast Guard after being in basic training for 4 weeks. It was an entry level seperation "uncharacterized"

My question is if this is something I need to disclose on an airline application as having military experience? From what i've read so far, if you spent less than 180 days, you were never considered active and cannot receive veteran benefits.

I would rather not have to disclose this information, but i'm not sure if I need to?

I did the same thing with OCS in the marines and just put it on my app for Colgan. I was asked about it in the interview and I simply told them that "I had fulfilled the requirements of my contract and chose to leave", for some reason I had an honorable discharge though. I still got the job.
