What routes did they do? I know AMF got atleast one...
AMF, God bless them, have been shutting down little 135s for a long time now. I've lost two jobs to the juggernaut already. Without slagging on our many AMF comrades, I will say that I think it's a sad trend, and maybe just a little taste of the Regionals for freightdoggies.
I try to preach that these low paying 135 jobs are bad, and going to hose the better paying jobs in the industry, yet I get slammed every time I do so.
Not saying that Amflight is one, just a general statement.

I just think you bring it up a bit often. The horse has been beaten enough. Maybe some tact will help as well. :/

My understudying is that UPS is intentionally cutting the small 135 feeders with just a few runs. They had 60 separate companies at one point, most of those only had 1 or 2 runs.
AMF and the others are just picking up the pieces.
+ 1 AMF offering the pilots a job with their old runs. From everything I've heard from people that worked at scarenow it was a really shady company anyway.
Sorry I'm just not going to be throwing up high fives all around when someone gets a gig paying 75 dollars a day.
This is why I have always wanted to work for a Fed-ex feeder. At least there Fed-ex owns the planes so I dont think they shift routes around like this.
