I got one of the bags from the company site and it is crap onboard the 200 overhead but works fine for 700 galley.
What I do is use a Jansport rollaboard, just like the backpack company. It is indestructable. $20 from tjmaxx
I have a large computer case that fits on top of it with several compartments for my flight case (it is heavier to lug than a proper case with strap) .The jan sport rollaboard does have a strap to put like a back pack on it.
So if you don't have to have the flight case strap 20-30 bucks at tjmaxx marshalls etc.

Works good, lasts long time. Slides right into the over head. Will take a lickin' and keep on tickin'. I bought the 26" version, but it's too big for most overhead bins when commuting. Just bought this one. Same bag, only 4" shorter.

I recommend the same thing, if you don't want to be the crewmember with squeaky bag wheels and a broken handle that is whining about how quickly the last one broke. :)

Yup, though ASA/Comair/Pinnacle, etc. always make me gate check mine. ;)

Well, yeah. When I non-rev/DH on a CRJ, I gate check mine, too. For the CREW it fits just fine. If you had a DHing crew in the back of a -200, you'd loose three bins right there.

Gotcha, yeah. Honestly, I don't mind the gate checking now that I have a bag that's got a ridiculous metal frame. :)
