Someone with a feminine username posts in the Riddle sub-forum and no one from Riddle responds? WEAK. They must be busy debating pitch vs. power for airspeed...

Id answer, but since I haven't been there in 18 years, my info is somewhat dated.

Roger, Roger....LOL

I just graduated there in December and I had a great ride through it. Prescott is small, you will know everyone you go to school with pretty much upon graduating, and the town is full of retired people who have turned to avid birdwatching. There is a lot of camping/outdoorsey stuff to do and its only an hour from Vegas by air. What major are you planning on doing?

Or watching a Top Gun marathon (where you just watch Top Gun over and over again). High five!

You just graduated and YOU think PRC is small?

I graduated in '92/'93. Son, you have no idea how small a town it was then. It's a darn metropolis now, by comparison!

Prescott is a great little town. I was at the tanker base two seasons ago, and I fell in love with the downtown area. I have no idea about the campus...I am a UVU graduate.

You should've seen the old tanker base before that new one was ever built.....

IMG_1636.jpgthe new one is pretty sterile, but nice facilities...I do like some of the older ones around the country with character....that's why I like you...you character!

I was just in PRC a few days ago and those riddle rats had me sitting at the end of the runway for a half hour! I was IFR and there were like 10 skyhawks and 15 seminoles coming down the taxiway on the other side of the runway and ground told me they were "clearing the ground traffic". Just let me depart straight out already!!

MikeD, I know man, even when I started in 2007, the highways, bridges, and businesses have all changed. I can't imagine way back when. We have all seen pics from the old days and all I can say is you are a trooper. Did "Crazy" Randy have an aviation shop back in those days?

Be sure to join a sorority or some kind of club. You'll meet people a lot quicker, and it'll give you more to do.

Yeah thats what I'm most excited about is meeting new people! I definitely want to join a sorority but I'm not sure what clubs I'll join yet. :)

Co-ed fraternities are also a viable option, and one that I made use of.

As for clubs, usually they'll host a club day on campus where you'll get to meet some club members from all the clubs. They'll tell you about their clubs, days that they meet, etc. Most will offer fee waivers for the first two or three meets if they are the type of club that charges.

At least that was how the Daytona Beach campus worked.
