HOME SWEET HOME

It's more of a pirate thing, and one an Air Force weenie has no business questioning. Move along, or I'll get somebody to cut the golf course out of your budget.

There's a reason we kicked the Army out from under the Air Corps in 1947.....:)

Revisionist history. Typical Republican gibberish. Say, where did you get the helos you're flying these days?

Well when the USAF designed the UH-60, following their success with the UH-1 and their development of the Air Cavalry / Airmobile concept of operations just prior to Vietnam, we got the Army interested in it.

:D

I'd love to live in your world for a day or two. Just to enjoy the view. Monet would have had a field day.

Welcome back! Sorry to hear that your gig went away while you were out but it sounds like you landed on your feet. To the person that recommended that all newly returning countrymen visit Disneyland right after they get back: Yikes! There are about a thousand other places I would rather be than crammed into Mr. Toad's Wild Ride with 200 sweaty poeple from Branson who came to see the "Big City." But I see the logic in it and that's all right in my book. Maybe an expenses paid trip to Vegas with mandatory buffet and craps table attendance would be more appropriate or just a good day of fishing in Montana.

Well then ALL of that money saved in a tax free zone would go to waste. That was the first thing (almost) that I wanted to do when I got off the ship was to go spend money.

Thanks all for the warm welcome back.
I just spent the last week going through recurrent in the BE-200 and I am anxious to start flying missions (trips). To answer a few questions, Mike, we can leave the username as is for time as I really enjoyed flying the 650 ... it was a sweet ride. Pilotforhire587 and I_money ... I was flying the BE-300 Medium Altitude Reconnaissance and Surveillance System (MARSS), our motto was ... We know what you did and we know where you live. Polar742, thanks for the headsup on Atlas hiring, for now I'm staying put. jm12992, someday I plan on taking a fishing trip to Montana, one of my best friends this deployment lives there. adreamer, I'm up for a visit anytime you are overnight in MDT, just let me know. Ian, I too enjoyed meeting you and if you're in town next week let me know. Mariano ... Stay safe and stay focused ... thanks for doing what you do!
