Unfortunately it was sarcasm. When I am home I am a stay at home dad and enough hours with just myself, the five month old and the dog and I start to go crazy.

Download AOL's Instant Messenger. (AIM). Create a sign in name. Go to 'Buddy Chat' and type in chatroom 'Jetcareers'. There's usually a perp or two in there.

Unless you're being sarcastic and I just got suckered in, in which case you can sit on it and rotate. Cheers. :beer:

we don't have a chat "within" JC. We simply don't have enough moderators to moderate it and keep it clean, which often times it is not...so there's an unofficial Jetcareers chat that everyone uses via AIM that has no moderation.

if/when you download AIM, you should see a "Buddy Chat" button (it's not an overly large or complex interface) and it should also be in the menu there somewhere...

Adium (right-thinking computer users): Shift-Cloverleaf-J, type "jetcareers" and press Enter.

Not sure how it works on, say, Pidgin. But using the official AIM client will make you go blind.

For pidgin, it's just Buddies -> Join a chat.
