Colgan guys that didnt get paid this morning

I think this is a management test run....they already know that you'll work for next to nothing, and now you'll be working for nothing. But don't worry, the new Q's are on the way and upgrades are a coming!

"I don't care!" (to steal a line from a viral video)

Isn't PNCL a public company? Is not paying your employees an issue with the SEC. How about SOX, is that worth a complaint?

I guess Pinnacle/Colgan's view may be they are working a few bugs out of the payroll system? There had better be a big God damn apology coming from these clowns.

If everyone had set up auto-deposit, and if there was absolutely NO NOTICE that this was going to get all wadded up - then I would save any and all bounced checks, denied auto-withdrawls, etc. If Colgan does not reimburse you for this, sue them. If Colgan said, anywhere, that there may be a difficulty and that this check would be in paper form through the US Mail, then I'm not sure there would be a case. But, if they did not warn you of this and you adjusted payments, etc then I would nail them. Also - if Colgan says it is the payroll company's fault - sue Colgan and they can recover the money from the payroll company. Either way, this is unsatisfactory.

Hey, they're making an extra $150 every day that payroll is late! Time for a pizza party!

This is pretty horrible. If my rent check goes through today like it always does and there is no money its gonna bounce...

Gotcha. That sucks, too, since a number of my bills are due on or around the first. At least you'll be on the same pay schedule as the rest of us if the TA gets ratified. I've had my pay check wrong before, but it's never just not been there.

I will be very glad when our paychecks are on the 1st and 16th. Insane that most pilots live somewhere where rent is due on the first and we get paid on the 5th. You can not even float a check anymore because many apartments autodeduct the rent the day you give them the check, damn computers!!

Check floating and apartment living, I am indeed an "airline pilot"

Thank goodness for rent-controlled/subsidized housing while I was at Skyway! :) Woo hoo! Single mom's and commuter pilots filled the joint!

Which, uhh, was a odd mix.

What does it matter what day you get paid on? Whether it's the first or 5th, YOU NEED TO BE RESPONSIBLE to pay your bills.

Not getting paid on time, is grounds for refusal to fly in my books.

I did the whole low income housing as a CFI, it was an experience to say the least.

Back to the subject at hand. Hang in their guys, hopefully it'll get better.

Made for interesting visits to the laundry room.

"You one o' them pilots?" (I need a new baby daddy)

"Nope" (You're not getting on the payroll)

What could possibly go wrong with a situation like that?

Let's just say that I know a couple former Skyway pilots that are still paying for their mistakes! :) DOH!

If your rent is due on the 1st of course it matters if your pay day is on the 1st or the 5th.''

And thanks Dad for the lesson on paying your bills on time. I am sure a first year FO at Colgan making $21 an hour is able to pay all his bills on time because that money is just flowing in:rolleyes:.

If tomorrow comes and there are Colgan pilots that are still not paid, in my opinion, they do have the right not to fly until being paid.

Samuel Jackson says it about Colgan at 0:12.....:)
