Nashville Flight Physical - I'm in a mess

Hey guys,

I need a first class flight physical first thing monday morning (1/3/11) in or around Nashville.

I am curious if anyone knows of a Medical Examiner in the area that can do me a HUGE favor? I know it will too short of a notice to make an appointment but im willing to go there and sit all day waiting for them to squeeze me in.

Anyone? Thanks so much for the info guys.

There is Dr. Ours in murfreesboro 615-895-2527, Dr. Spangler and Dr. Clark at MTSU... Worth a shot... Id try Dr. Ours, explain your situation... hes a cool dude

My AME does 2nd and 3rd - doesn't do 1st and I have no idea why. The FAA website has a AME search function and you can get all their info from there so I looked up several AMEs in my hometown and several of them are 1st class AMEs while 2 of them aren't.

Anybody know why - I'm guessing they have to get specially qualified ($$$) or something like that.

Yes, this. The FAA would like their AMEs pronouncing us fit for airline duty to have some experience in pronouncing you fit for less-strenuous-than-airline duty.

Lol, I use both of those guys. They are great. Oh and Dr. Boch in Memphis is a great one too! And it is worth the drive! I went to him back in the day. Great doc if you are looking for a medical...
 
It's probably about a four hour drive, Dr. Horan is in Marion, NC seems like the type who would help out. Saw him a few months ago, seemed very pleased that I drove 20 min from Asheville to see him. He also has a very dedicated and respectable mustache. Maybe too far though in your situation.
