How much did you fly this year?

I think around 2. Initial ATC trainee pay doesn't really support my flying addiction with what they're asking for rentals around here.

528.5, which isn't bad since I started instructing in late April... 487.3 of it is Dual Given. The rest was CFI and CFII training, and the occasional repositioning flight, photo flight, or rental.

315.6 of Dual Given and Towing mostly, with my CMEL in there too. The most of any year so far, but it should have been way more.

Did 581.1.

Also calculated an average ground speed of each aircraft flown, and time in it to get a total NM distance of 114,504 this year. That translates to about 5 1/4 trips around the equator or about halfway to the moon. Maybe next year I'll land. BOO YA!

~150... including earning two certificates (instrument [1/4/10] and commercial [10/31/10])

438 hours of flight instruction. Throw in the ferry flights, flying jumpers, and my own plane, and I'm probably in the 550-600 hour range. A nice, comfortable pace.

432.4, which includes 657 landings and 97 approaches. Yikes. Haven't flown since mid-August, though.
