Who's working on Christmas?

I've got 9 days off over Christmas, and I'm also off NYE.

I basically hit the training cycle lottery.

Kinda the same way. Should be off over Christmas myself, but only because the IOE wait is just soooooo long (5.5 weeks and counting, sucka!).

That's actually a good thing!

Sure, as long as this isn't my first landing after 2 months out of the sim!

Whoops!

Christmas vacation!

Off from now 'till the 4th of Jan. It only took 12 years. And to think people (except for Doug) badmouth the maddog.

I had a 7 day trip over Christmas last year, so it's a big change.

7 day trip? How is that legal? Flag? Do days without flying out of domicile count as an off day, or am I missing something else?

What's wrong w/ draggin' the tail a bit? You're just putting on a light show for the tower folks....that's a good thing, right?!? :p

FedEx tosses a 24hour "off period" on the trip somewhere.. I'm sure that's how others do it..

Update: My request for Monday the 27th off came through. I'll be flying out on the 25th to spend the weekend back in NE and SD. WahOOO!

OFF. from 12-17/ 01-3-2011. I have to find something to do with my time, probably end up lollygagging around on here.

I'm working Christmas Day, but thanks to a whopper of a de-ice delay, I'm not working as much a I thought I would have been. :D

On the upside.. I have a full week off that falls across New Years. Might have to do something interesting with that time. Cheers.

A few libations might be in order....

I'll be cleaning airplanes the nights of Christmas Eve and NYE. At least I will be getting double pay. Plus my one day off a week is saturday, so I get Christmas and New Years Day off.

I finish up a 4 day at 630 pm on Christmas Day. One more day trip and I'll be filled up for the month and actually have NYE off!

That's right -- all the requirement says is 24 hours free from duty.

13, 15, even 17 day trips at some places!
