And he doesn't even have a Garmin 430 installed....I'd take an old 172 with more useful load, dual nav/comm, and DME for half the price wayy before I considered a 152 at his price.

Dunno how many times I'm going to have to say this, but with the times and condition that price is only slightly unreasonable. You could probably get between 60 and 65 for it pretty easily with the right buyer.
