Favorite airplane in your logbook.

FLIPY FLAPS!
Ok, so we've posted the best, and the worst. Which one means something to you? Which one did you enjoy the most, and which one do you long to fly again. It might not have been the fastest, or the most glamorous, but which one did you enjoy beyond all others.

I for one, miss the hell out of the 207. It was an awesome airplane, and one that I had a ridiculous amount of fun flying.

But also, I think that the Caravan is about the best dammed airplane I've ever flown. Its the best flying, and best balanced machine in my logbook. Can't tell if it or the 207 is my favorite or the 208.

The Ol' Traumahawk will always have a sweet spot in my heart.

@swisspilot You have an extra switch on the overhead compared to mine. From left to right mine is: start, prime, battery, alternator, fuel pump, mags (L&R), landing lights, nav lights, strobe lights. Do you know what I'm missing?

Another Archer fan here, but no avidyne with mine:

I have about 100 hrs in this plane. Used it for my instrument training and have taken it to Oshkosh. The cockpit photo isn't quite up to date..it now has a GTX 330 transponder with traffic displayed on the 530. It also has WAAS, XM radio, XM WX, strike finder and a S-Tec autopilot.

Awesome airplane.

It's the Standby alternator, it came with the glass cockpit package, I think most glass cockpit planes need to have it.

I stopped flying it because it got sold, it was an amazing plane. Gov. Sonny Perdue of Georgia bought it (who is also a pilot) and it's part of Georgia Aviation Authority fleet.

I love the 727 but would love to get my hands back on a Mooney M20R. It was loaded with EFIS, Speed Brakes, auto pilot, O2, and leather.

Of the airplanes I have in my logbook, there is really only one that I really enjoyed flying and would love to fly again...

This, by far:

While I feel privileged to be doing what I'm doing now (especially at my age), I miss the 402 daily. I just don't feel like I fly airplanes anymore.
