I've always been kinda weak on weather. I've never liked it much, but as you move up the ladder it becomes paramount to have a complete understanding of what affects us the most basically.
I am moving up the ladder :beer: and got myself The Turbine Pilot and Fly the Wing. Good books as far as aircraft systems and bigger plane issues.
What weather book would you guys recommend that would reconcile me with this topic ? (That and NDB holds...:banghead:)

"Weather Flying" by Buck is pretty good along those lines.
 
You know, I have downloaded all the FAA publications and I find it tedious to use... There is a limited supply of FAA books here, I can't put my hands on a FAR/AIM for instance. I must be too old ! I'll be in the US in a couple of weeks and I'll order everything there ! And thanks for the link !

x2 great book.

Also, understanding the sky is a wonderful book for micro weather. It is more geared towards glider flying, but the information is useful non the less.

Why not order now and have it shipped to a US address?
